As a continuation of the F411 chip, The V5 FC board is updated with the F4 20A V3 FC board. F411 4S 20A V5 toothpick brushless flight controller adopts BMI270 gyro instead of MPU6000 on V3 board. Con due porte plug&built-in play for HD digital receiver and VTX, it is easy to install and requires less soldering work. Moreover, the board is a solid value for long lasting use due to the high quality PCB material and improved manufacturing process.

Note: F411 4S 20A FC V5 is available to flash BLHeli_S and BLUEJAY ESC firmware and comes with default BLHeliI_S firmware. The main difference is that BLUEJAY firmware supports bidirectional D-shot, while BLHeli_S does not support it.
Confronto con F411 4S 20A V3 FC
We upgraded the F411 4S 20A V3 board to V5 by adopting BMI270 gyro instead of MPU6000 and adding some new features. The BMI270 gyro works great in most cases, especially at low frequency. Unlike the V3 card which supports JST1.25 connectors, the motor solder pads on the V5 board are only solderable and reinforced by thick copper and edge plating technology, allowing for a lower resistance for a higher current on the motors. Moreover, the V5 FC board features high quality material for welding stability and durability of use. The images below show the difference between the two flight controllers.

The card integrates 3 LED, including the power LED (rosso), il LED FC (blu) and the receiver LED.
External VTX digital RX / HD connection
F411 4S 20A FC V5 integra la porta Plug & Play for external RX and HD digital VTX and in the package there will be a connector a 4 pin for RX and a connector a 6 pin per VTX digitale HD. Therefore, we highly recommend pilots to use the port to save welding work.
Firmware FC ed ESC
The default firmware includes the CLI dump file. But if you flash the firmware from the official Betaflight configurator site, flash a CLI dump file for F411 4S 20A FC V5. We offer the default firmware and CLI dump file for you to download.
The BMI270 gyro will need more software filters and is sensitive to high frequencies. This can be solved by adjusting the filter settings in PID optimization. Betaflight or BETAFPV default CLI and FC firmware dump file does not include filter settings. For pilots who want to configure it, we recommend setting the low lap 2 at 145Hz and to choose the type of filter on PT2.
F411 4S 20A FC V5 is available to flash BLHeli_S and BLUEJAY ESC firmware and comes with default BLHeliI_S firmware. The main difference is that BLUEJAY firmware supports bidirectional D-shot, while BLHeli_S does not support it. Here are the download links for two firmware.
